Oh wise and powerful LBB, don’t write off Husband’s ex-pat idea too quickly. I was at the doctor’s office and picked up a copy of AARP magazine (only because there was a very good picture of Dennis Quaid on the cover of it! Why is it that men look better as they age and women, well…. But I digress!) Anyhoo, there was an article about retiring abroad. And not just to the usual places. Will share the next time we meet. And remember, my Grammie taught herself Spanish while in her 90s. I do believe your Grammie and my Grammie would have gotten along!

We probably do talk finances more! It still surprises me what comes up. But, Husband knows better than to suggest eliminating maid service. Ha-ha! My best to you…

Too funny. Although truthfully, because of the LBB status, you probably discuss retirement plans and finances more than most married couples. These days, sometimes I just worry that I will get to retire! Or that I will have to give up the maid service.
