NEGATIVE! Don’t agree on this one.
Hot dogs from a cheap grill that you can’t even buy charcoal for so you use wood. Ever had hamburger helper without hamburger? Not too bad. Late night tv show from an antenna with tinfoil on it so you can see it. Living in a basement and coming home after 14 hour work days to your loving wifemate and newborn son. These are just a few of the things that make for a “First Rate Marriage” and I’m sure there are many people who have simimilar stories to share.
Having money ,I’m sure, must make some things easier in a marriage.
However, I don’t believe it’s a prerequsite (sp) for a good marriage.
OOps, am I overstepping here?

Ah, but who says anything about money? “Expensive” comes in various ways – like spending your time.

Agreed. I only took the quote to mean money because of the comparison to the cost of a first-rate (expensive) hotel.
XOXOXO ^-^
PS……How many chords now? A song or two yet?
