Spending time to look good is great, and very much appreciated, as long as the time spent does not mean that you are going to be late for whatever it is for which you are trying to look good. I actually find the “fluffing and buffing” process interesting and very endearing. In a way, it is a gift. She takes the time to look good, and I’m the beneficiary of that effort. How can you not love that?

To me, “high maintenance” is more a matter of attitude than hygiene, dialect, or presentation. I consider a woman to be “high maintenance” when the thing you and she have most in common is that SHE is at the center of both your universes!

I also appreciate a man who knows a thing or two about visiting a spa himself, from time to time, and I’m not about to call him egotistical or high maintenance. Caring about yourself, your looks, and your personal hygiene does not make one “high maintenance”. And, for a Virgo, frankly, it’s non-negotiable, a real deal breaker.

When I was shopping for my first Mercedes sedan, the salesman corrected me when I called it a “luxury” car. He said it was a “high performance” car (fact or spin? Hmmm?). Such cars need a little extra investment to keep them, well “high performance.”

Let’s face it, most of us would rather be seen in a shiny new Mercedes than a “cash for clunkers” candidate. So we might want to rethink our view of our women; they aren’t “high maintenance” they are “high performance.” Aren’t they just beautiful?
