This is a blog about being married for the first time after age 40. It’s different. Trust me.
You may ask yourself, as you begin reading, is she making these things up? I promise you (hand to heart) that everything I write here is absolutely true. But, before you judge me, dear readers, and say “of course, it was hard – waiting so long!“, know that I have been a late bloomer for most of my life. So, this was probably destiny.
But, as I was getting fitted for a wedding dress for the first time in my 40s, it occurred to me to ask: how do we do this?
Consider this blog a “memoir with a purpose.”
